Central, Clean & good place to stay
Central location. Room was good & cleaned daily. Pool was cold & unfortunately weather was not too good when we were there. Would be nice if pool had been heated. Hot tub was nice though. Would have been a tight squeeze if more guests had wanted to use it, but luckily we had it to ourselves!

this motel was very excellent in every way from reception to the motel cleaners
a beautiful motel, set up and designed fantastic, suroundings in the courtyaed lovely, i felt so comfortable there, when i go back to alice springs again i will be staying at the same motel thats for sure.
Alice springs is a very interesting town, so much sight seeing, and i loved going for a ride on the camels, i took heaps and heaps of photo's.

Expensive for something so basic
I thought it was very expensive for what seemed like a very basic motel style accommodation. It was rated as 'deluxe' yet the room was very dark and 1970's style, the bathroom very small and dingy, the room let in all the smoke from outside (not very nice being woken up by smoking from work staff outside at 6am - especially when I specifically requested a non-smoking room). Plus the shower had no hot water (which was fixed on day 2 which was good).
Yes the reception area has been refurbished but I'd rather the rooms were a much better standard when you are paying 0 per night.
Don't walk alone at night as really you don't feel safe, although you should be ok in the day. Check out Keller's restaurant - fabulous food and service.

Middling
Room basically fine, BUT basin plug didn't work, A/C dicey, balcony windows needed instructions, connection to restaurant from hotel abysmal. Staff helpful and apologetic.
Alice Springs. No time for area. Desert gardens well worth a visit. To see the town and environments climb Anzac Hill.

The Motel itself was fine however I didn't like the restaurant food. The gnocchi was terrible. Refused to eat there after that. (my 1st night of 3).

Very comfortableroom and facilities.
Room, facilities, staff and pool were allfirst class. However, some attention needs to be given to the room guide information. It is too elementary and assumes the guest knows where everything is. The locks on the patio doors work in opposition, ie. E they each turn the opposite way to lock. The taps also. The bed is huge and veryyy confortable.
Alice is an exceptional place to visit. Special reference must be made of Palm Valley and the Desert Park. Both are excellent in their own way and are places to be identified whenvisiting the centre.

Quite ok hotel
Clean room, ok bed, nice staff, breakfast not that good
Alice Springs is really worth a visit. A semi-desert town in the desert with so many things to see and really kind people. Prepare yorself for great days in great heat!

Convenient location.
Very good service at Reception. Helpful and obliging. Rooms very spartan. Bathroom suprisingly poorly appointed. Would not recommend restaurarnt.

A hotel close to the city centre
This hotel is close to the city centre and worth to stay, though in winter you may suffer from the cool air getting into the bathroom since the window cannot be closed due to safety reasons (as I was told from the reception). If you don't mind having a shower in a fresh environment, this is your hotel.
