I thought it was very expensive for what seemed like a very basic motel style accommodation. It was rated as 'deluxe' yet the room was very dark and 1970's style, the bathroom very small and dingy, the room let in all the smoke from outside (not very nice being woken up by smoking from work staff outside at 6am - especially when I specifically requested a non-smoking room). Plus the shower had no hot water (which was fixed on day 2 which was good).
Yes the reception area has been refurbished but I'd rather the rooms were a much better standard when you are paying 0 per night.
Don't walk alone at night as really you don't feel safe, although you should be ok in the day. Check out Keller's restaurant - fabulous food and service.
