Had everything you needed on site.Shop ,petrol, food.

We loved this place. Main bed was good, although a little firm for me but overall great. My only suggestion would be to instal a solid security flyscreen so we could leave the door open at night. A bit stuffy with the aircon on all night. Great place for kids with the feeding of the wallabies at night. A great attraction. Friendly staff with the exception of the French girl on the night shift but otherwise very pleasant staff.

We were there 8 days and would have liked another week to see everything. For tours go with Emu Run. Very competent people in charge I felt very safe and secure. If going on the 6 a. M Uluru bus tour returning at midnight be aware that it is not a very comfortable coach, a bit rocky and bumpy so if you suffer from motion sickness ask for up front of bus. Try to go to the Aboriginal settlements not listed in the tour books a bit further out of town if you are after original paintings, they are much cheaper than anywhere else and you can see the artist direct.

A must see is Palm Valley, amazing, again this is in a high stepped 4WD An interesting day! Again very competent staff. Stanley Casem is nice also. Where to eat - The Tavern at the Heavitree Gap was reasonably priced. Sunday Roast for . Sporties in the Todd Mall have nice food also.

Book Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge, or Alice Springs Accommodation and Hotels.
